All things work together

Romans 8:28 (AMP)
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.

One of the bible stories I have always loved from the time I was a kid is the story of Joseph. I love it because I can identify with it in so many ways. Joseph the dreamer, a young man with dreams about being a ruler but his brothers don’t see it that way. They plan evil against him not knowing that the evil they do will be turned around for good. Not just for Josephs good but for their good also. God would use the situation to save their very lives.

While he was a slave in Potiphar’s house or a prisoner accused of rape, you would think, what good can come out of a situation like this? Joseph loved God and in all that he went through he did not compromise his standards and God was with him. As long as you hide yourself in God, as long as you love God and are out to please him, then the pit and the prison will be used as stepping stones to get you to your palace.
Knowing that God loves you and He wants the best for you, that his love for you is unconditional plus having that reassurance that he predestined your life and nothing about when and where you were born is a mistake, that it’s all part of Gods great plan and purpose, then it makes sense that all things work together for my good.

Do not get stuck in the present and lose sight of the big picture. The challenge is many times we do not have an idea how all this pieces will fit together but then again, that is not our job, it is Gods job. Yours and mine is to believe and to trust that even those nasty things that the enemy throws our way, the setbacks that befall us and the seemingly missed opportunities will all work for our good. So even in your current circumstances rest assured that all things work together for good to them that Love God and are called according to his purpose.
