The Signs of The Times: The Sign of Declaration

Matthew 24:14 NKJV
14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Jesus declared that this Gospel of the kingdom will be preached to the ends of the world as a witness to all the people before the end comes. You would think that because of the things mentioned before, the rise of many false prophets, persecution, and betrayal, and the love of many growing cold this would not be the case. God always ensures that there is a remnant.
Though wickedness will increase in the last days, so will the preaching of the Gospel. The darker it grows the brighter the light shines. In the parable of the wheat and the tares, the master said that both should be allowed to grow together and they would be separated during the harvest.
In the book of Acts when the church was birthed, a great persecution arose and many disciples were killed, Stephen being one of them. With such circumstances and the church having a few thousand people, you would expect that the church would fizzle out. That was not the case, instead, the church grew in leaps and bounds and there was nothing that the authorities of the day could do to stop its spread.
I see the same happening during the last days, that though there will be great persecution against the church, it will grow in leaps and bounds.
You and I have a responsibility to carry out the great commission. We must go into the whole world and preach the message of the kingdom and raise up disciples. This is a mandate that has been given to every believer. May we not allow ourselves to be distracted by the comforts of this world and forget to do what we have been mandated to do. When Jesus says that this Gospel will be preached in all the world as a witness we must recognise that God is not going to send angels to get the work done. You and I have that responsibility and mandate to get the job done.
Reflections.
If you could travel to any country in this world to preach the gospel, which country would it be and why?
When was the last time you won someone to Christ?
What keeps you from having a lifestyle of preaching this Gospel?
