Psalms 91:9-11 AMP
Because you have made the Lord , [who is] my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place, No evil will befall you, Nor will any plague come near your tent. For He will command His angels in regard to you, To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
To many believers psalm 91 is the protective psalm. God is able to protect his people and the Bible is full of examples that we can fall back on to encourage ourselves and one another especially in a season like this. Our God is the same yesterday today and forever. If he did it before He can and will do it again.
He protected the children of Israel in Egypt when the plaques hit and he preserved their lives. He is the same God who protected the three Hebrew boys when they were thrown into the fiery furnace that had been heated 7 times more than normal. He is the same God who protected Daniel in the lions den.
When we are faced with situations like what the world is facing now, situations that remind us how weak we are as humans; we who are believers should not panic like the rest of the world. Instead we should look to God because our lives are no longer our own. We belong to God and he is able to protect us.
As the Bible says, some may trust in horses and chariots but we will trust in the name of our God.
Isaiah 54:17 AMP
No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord , And this is their vindication from Me,” says the Lord .
Reflective Thoughts
Do you believe that nothing is impossible with our God?

This pandemic has caught the attention of the world, do you see this as an opportunity as a believer to share with them about the God you believe in?
