Rejoice and Give Thanks!

Psalm 9:1-2 (AMP)
9 I will give thanks and praise the LORD, with all my heart; I will tell aloud all your wonders and marvelous deeds. 2 I will rejoice and exult in you; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.

When you think about God and who He is, what He has done and the wonders of what He created, do you have anything to thank Him for? The psalmist says he will tell aloud about Gods deeds and marvelous deeds. When you are thankful; and grateful, you cannot keep quiet. You have something to proclaim. When was the last time you shared with someone the wonderful things that God has done? When did you last proclaim out loud about the wonders of God and His marvelous deeds, or burst out in song just to praise His name because He is the most high?

Pause
Slow down

Take a breather and look back. Think about God, the God that you serve and submit to and what He has done. Think about His greatness and the wonders of what He has created. Think about the fact that He came down to rescue us from sin and the death penalty so we could be with Him eternally. That in itself is such an overwhelming thing to think about it makes you want to shout and praise for eternity. When your focus shifts to Him and His greatness then all your worries and problems fade away because you realize how big your God is.
Perspective changes perception and when you and I shift from being the center of our own lives and we allow God to be the center then we begin to see Him in His glory and goodness.
Give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercies endure forever!

This far He has brought you and if you believe the word then He made a promise and declaration that is sure and trustworthy and that is that He has a good plan for your life and His love to words you is eternal, He will never leave you nor forsake you.
You are loved.

Give thanks and praise the Lord!
