James 2:15-17 NKJV
If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Something beautiful has been sparked off by the corona virus pandemic. Through the anguish and distress fear and death has arisen a spirit of compassion and kindness across the globe and its beautiful.
Because of the pandemic, some cities and Nations are on a complete lock down. People have lost their jobs and businesses have closed down. People are in need of basic needs.
The bible tells us that faith without works is dead and we should not withhold to do good to our brother if it is in our power to do so. As believers this is our time to arise, our time to display our faith our time to demonstrate Gods love to a needy world.
From across the globe i have read amazing stories of love compassion and kindness. A chemist owner who supplied toiletries and hand sanitizers to the elderly in his neighborhood at his own cost. A young girl who rallied her classmates to raise funds to buy hand sanitizers and tissue papers for the homeless. A millionaire who spent 82000 dollars in a day paying for groceries for the elderly across supermarkets. Back here at home a young man and his friends who are feeding the homeless and educating them on the corona virus pandemic. A mother who has rallied a whole community together to raise money to buy care packs consisting of food items that can feed a family of 4 for a week and they are being distributed to those in need. I could go on and on and on.
That is how God expects us to respond to those in need in such a time as this. Be a part of this kindness wave……
Reflective thoughts
Have you helped provide for anybody in this season ?

If you have, do it again if you have not find someone you can be a blessing to in this season, what you may consider little may mean a lot to the person in need.
