Kingdom Fatherhood: Hope

Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord , thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God has a plan and a purpose for each of his children. In God our father we find not only identity but we also have a hope and a future. In him we are assured of an inheritance. Hope talks of what is to come what is in the future what we are looking forward to and he tells us that its good.

Many times when we worry, it’s because we are uncertain of the future but in God the good father that is already taken care of. To be hopeless is to deny the existence of God our father because he is our hope. It is to lack faith in the father and to declare that he is a liar not able to deliver what he has promised. Faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the assurance of things not seen. Without hope then there is no need for faith.

As we fellowship and relate to our father then he reveals to us our hope and future which ignites our purpose. He reveals to us where we fit in to his grand plan, the reason why we exist the value we bring to the kingdom.

In God we have a picture of the end. Through his word he has told us how all this will end and we have the reassurance that it will be well with our souls. The bible says that without a vision the people perish. We are not among that number because our heavenly father is our hope, he has given us a vision, our future is bright.

Reflective Thoughts.
Have you allowed God to connect you to the why he created you for?
