Kingdom Fatherhood: Home

John 14:2 NKJV
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Every good father provides a safe place where he can raise his family and God is no different. A home is a place of safety a place of protection.

Psalm 91:1 NKJV
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

That’s the secret place the place of safety where we run to and find refuge.
A home is a place where we build relationship with the father, its a place of intimacy. Jesus said his fathers house shall be known as a house of prayer for all nations. It is in Gods house that we find acceptance and belonging because we all belong to the same father.
We are not destitute, we are not orphans. We have a father and we have a home a safe place to interact with our father a place where we are shielded and protected a place where we are provided for a place where we build relationships with one another as children in Gods family.
We are accepted and we belong.

Reflective Thoughts.
Do you have a place in Gods home or are you seeking to move out and do your thing because you want independence?

Do you feel the protection and warmth of being part of Gods family or do you feel alone and neglected?
Are you building intimacy with the father or do you feel like a neglected child?
