Matthew 28:20b
and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”
Though He ascended back to heaven, Jesus made us a promise that He would be with us always no matter the circumstance even to the end of the age. He is the vine and we are the branches and He said that as long as we stay connected to Him then we will bear fruit. The vine cannot detach itself from the branches; that is never the issue. It is we the branches who sometimes swallow the deception that we can make it without the vine and we detach ourselves only to discover that apart from the vine we have no life because the life we have flows through the vine into the branches.
Do we come into the presence of the Lord or are we always in His presence? I believe we are always in his presence. If He promised to never leave us nor forsake us then it means He is with us everywhere we go. In this New Testament dispensation unlike the old, He lives in our hearts; our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. He is our teacher helper our counselor ever present with us. Can you imagine that? God is with us everywhere we go, whether we feel His presence or not, that does not negate the fact that He is with us. He is with you right now in the very situation that you are facing, you are not alone.
The veil into the holy place was torn into two and now we who believe have access to God, He is here with us. The very birth of Jesus and the name He was given gives us assurance of this very issue;
Matthew 1:23 (AMP)
23 “BEHOLD, THE [a]VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND GIVE BIRTH TO A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL”—which, when translated, means, “GOD WITH US.”
Whatever you do and wherever you go today, have this awareness that you are ac carrier of the presence of God. He is with you and in you wherever you go. May this realization change the way you look at yourself, the way you walk, your perception towards life and how you handle issues that come your way….. God is with you. You bring Him along everywhere you go!
