God’s Voice in Answered Prayer

1 John 5:14‭-‬15 NKJV
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
Have you ever prayed for something and God answered? What a joy it usually is when the very thing you have been praying for becomes the reality that you now live. God speaks to us through answered prayer.
John says that we have confidence in God and the foundation of this confidence is that we know that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and not just that, we know that what we ask for, we will get.
Think about this, if God did not answer then why pray? We pray because we know that God hears and God answers.
To pray in his will is to pray his word back to him. His will is revealed through his word and when we know his word then we have the assurance that we can pray in his will and such prayers hit the mark each time every time.
This calls for faith and patience because sometimes Gods timing and our timings are not aligned. In such cases we have to rest in the assurance that he has heard us and in his time he will make all things beautiful.
When he speaks through answered prayer, he not only speaks to you who prayed but also to the others who see and experience your answered prayer.
Reflective Thoughts.
