I Corinthians 12: 7-11 NKJV
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.
Each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit but not each one operates in the manifestation of the Spirit, why is this so?
Ignorance is one of the main issues, many believers do not know they have been given the gifts of the Spirit.
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
This is why reading the word of God consistently is paramount for every believer. When we read the bible we gain knowledge and a deeper understanding of God and His promises over our life.
This leads me to the second issue, a lack of faith.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Everything we receive from God we must receive in faith because without faith we cannot please Him. This faith is activated when we read the word because;
Romans 10:17 NKJV
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Fear will also deny us the experience of the manifestation of the Spirit in our lives because where there is fear, faith cannot thrive. We have to learn to allow faith to override the fear in our life. Remember;
2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Power to walk in the supernatural as the gifts of the Spirit manifest in our life. Love to use the gifts for the benefit of all in the body and a sound mind to understand spiritual matters as we read the word, pray and have fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Do not allow the enemy to deny you of the wonderful gifts that God has availed to you through his Holy Spirit.
