Faith in God!

Proverbs 14:12 (AMP)
12 There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, But its end is the way of death.

We live in a world filled with opinions, especially in this social media driven era where many people have the opportunity to broadcast their thoughts and ideas. Every other person thinks their opinion is right and all others are wrong. That is the folly of relying on self. Just as the author of proverbs tells us that there is a way that may seem right to a man and appear straight, he may think his opinion and wisdom are right and not bother to consult God and that path will eventually lead his to death.
To please God and to be able to walk with him we must have faith, for anyone who would please him must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP)
5 Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.6 [a]In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him,
And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].

That is faith in action! To have faith is to fully rely on God in all your ways and to cease from relying on your own understanding.
Now Faith is not to put your head in the sand and live in denial of what is happening around you, it is not hiding from the obvious or pretending. Faith is believing and knowing that God will do what he promised despite what you can see in the natural.

Faith is the evidence that God is faithful; it is the evidence that you and I belong to a kingdom that is not of this world and that kingdom governs how we live life.
Faith is allowing his will to be done on earth as it is in heaven and that he will do so through me and others who believe because we have made the choice to hear his voice for faith comes by hearing his word and not only have we heard, we have downloaded it in our hearts and that word governs how we live our lives.
Faith is saying because I trust Him, then I will follow his lead no matter where he leads me.

The enemy will try to plant seeds of doubt in your heart like he did in the garden with Adam and Eve; don’t allow him to make your mind a seedbed for doubt and fear to breed, instead be like the blessed man in Psalm 1

But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.3 And he will be like a tree firmly planted [and fed] by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season; Its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers [and comes to maturity]. Psalm 1:2-3
