Creating new beginnings: Engage your creative abilities

Genesis 1:26 NKJV
Then God said, “Let Us make man in our image, according to our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

One nature that every human being is created with is the nature of creativity and this is because God who made us is creative and he made us in his image and likeness. The problem is some of us have believed that we are not creative and thus we hardly put our creative side to use.
I believe that as long as we have a mind that can think then we can be as creative as we believe we can be. Every crisis has an opportunity and if we are open enough not to focus only on the crisis then we can begin to see the many opportunities presented in the crisis. Because we are creatures of habit, many people get stuck when what they were accustomed to is disrupted.
You and I have the Holy Spirit who lives in us, the very Spirit that was present and active during creation, how creative then should we be?

Over this season where the corona virus has affected life as we know it and disrupted lots of things, we have seen people who have gotten stuck because what they were used to has been disrupted while on the other hand we have seen others who have seen opportunities within the crisis and instead of complaining they have ceased the opportunities to make the most out of them.

The Bible says ask and it shall be given unto you, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened unto you. If you are stuck when it comes to creating new beginnings, all we have to do is ask and the Holy Spirit will drop ideas into our Spirit, ideas that are heavenly inspired, ideas that can bring about change and transformation. If God expects us to effect his will in heaven here on earth, why then would he not give us creative ideas to do so? The problem is we don’t ask because many of us have believed we are not creative. Ask and see if he will not give you heavenly inspired creative ideas.

Reflective Thoughts
Do you believe that you are creative? What does that even mean?

————————–————————–———–
Do you ever pray for God to give you creative ideas? If yes, what are some ideas he has given you? If no, why not?

As a man thinketh in his heart so is he. Begin today to believe that you are creative and make it a habit to ask God for ideas that present solutions to effect his will in heaven here on earth.
