Galatians 3:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
13 Christ purchased our freedom and redeemed us from the curse of the Law and its condemnation by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS [crucified] ON A TREE (cross)”—
When Christ hang on the cross and He declared “It is finished!” He meant exactly that! Through the complete work on the cross we have received the righteousness that is in Christ and every blessing that is Him because we have been made one with Him.
Ephesians 1:3
3 [c]Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ,…..
We are blessed right now PRESENT CONTINUOUS! We who are born again are beneficiaries of every blessing in the heavenly realms. Christ told us that He came that we may have life and life in abundance! No curse can beat that. Who is it that can curse what God has already blessed?
Sadly, we sometimes are so superstitious and, in a way, we have believed that there are some things that require more than the complete work of redemption that Christ did on the cross. We have allowed the enemy to deceive us that there are some areas in our life where we have not been fully redeemed and we even go ahead to try and work out that redemption for ourselves in our own strength and understanding sometimes going ahead to try and mix faith and some ungodly traditions and beliefs that we have held on to.
The blood of Christ has the power to fully redeem us. Though we were living under a curse, we die with Christ and we are raised up with him again this time round being born again in the realm of blessings and not curses. This does not mean that the enemy will not try to have his way with us, he will still try to deceive us so that though we are redeemed, we live like we are under a curse.
Luke 10:19 (AMP)
19 Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on [a]serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.
In Christ we have authority over all the power of the enemy and Christ have given us the promise that nothing will harm us. We need to learn how to exercise that authority when the enemy tries to bind us in his deception. None of his power curses included can harm us because in Christ we have been set free and we have been given authority over ALL the power of the enemy.
