Hebrews 11:1 (AMP)
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].
Thirteen years, that was the time frame that Joseph had to wait before his dream became a reality. Twenty-five years was the time frame that Abraham had to wait before Isaac the son of promise came to be born. One interesting thing is that when God shows you the vision, many times he will leave out the details of how long it will take you to attain it and what you will have to go through. The gap between the revelation of the vision and the actualization of the vision, the process, is the time God uses to develop our character and build our faith.
You and I have to believe in the vision if it must come to pass. Yes, there will be obstacles and sometimes like in the case of Joseph and Abraham it will seem like the vision has died because naturally it becomes impossible to attain it but we must have faith that it will come to pass.
In the pit in Potiphar’s house and in prison, Joseph kept the dream alive and he prepared for it because no matter where you placed him, he rose to a place of leadership and influence and we know that he kept close to God because he was careful to live his life in a way that was pleasing to God.
As you peruse your vision for 2019, rest assured of one thing, you will face difficulty and opposition and there may come a time that things will not make sense. Remember to hold on and keep believing in the vision even when everybody else gives up on you or laughs and ridicules you. Remember they laughed at Noah and thought he was crazy but one day Noah and his family got into the ark and God shut them in then He opened the heavens and the rain came down.
Take Out
Hold on firmly to your faith and that which God has entrusted to you, believe in the vision despite what you see in the natural, storms will come and go and the vision will come to pass.
